ECO GARDEN PLANS
Landscape Plans to Inspire You
The Basics
Simply put, a sustainable garden can be extremely variable. It can look anyway you want it to, without the huge price tag. Your garden can have almost any level of development - even the simple things make a huge difference. It's all relative to the space you have and the time you're willing to put in; this initial investment in time will pay off in the long run.
Whether it be full integration with edible gardens, a green roof, rain chains and an eco lawn or just simple ponds and water bowls, your sustainable garden starts with anything. Urban apartments can be altered with a days worth of work, while a house with a backyard can be transformed. When you begin to add in all elements to your garden, you'll find they compliment each other very well. As animals and bugs begin to interact and help your garden fluorish, so will your new additions. This aspect of a sustainable garden is very important - the ability to continue the natural life cycle and improve the environment (both visually and literally) while doing so.
Price should be no issue. if when looking around you discover your project is far too expensive, simply reuse older materials and find a cheaper way to do it. After all, if it's not cheap to begin with how can it possibly be sustainable? Find a cheaper way to get it done - think outside the box!
