April 28/10 - A Year in a Sustainable Garden: The Bees Have Arrived! Preparing To Hive A Bee Hive
At long last the bees have arrived from New Zealand! After a two day intensive course at the local apiarist it is time for me to put the theory into practice as I prepare my two hives located on our edible green roof.
With the help of my husband we created this video to give you the fundamentals and insider tips on preparing your hives for some 20,000 residents. In our next video we welcome our newcomers with a cermonious 'dump' into their new box!
