Last December my husband and I visited New Zealand. And like any good Landscape Architect we just had to visit the plethora of botanical gardens down there. My husband being the sport that he is, humoured me for yet another look at the world of gardens and garden design and actually suggested taping this as well as six other gardens.

This is another in the collection of video travel logs taken  at the Hamilton Botanical Gardens in New Zealand. While I usually ally myself with modernistic gardens - I can't help but love the old styles - particularly English Gardens - maybe it is my Scottish heritage...

And herb gardens are not only beautiful but funtional as well offering up a showcase of plants which can be used for anything from culinary, to medicinal, cosmetic as well as homeopahty, and aromatherapy. The only thing missing in the video were the two resident chickens who suddenly became camera shy when we decided to tape!

 Enjoy!
