July 19/10 Senga's Vlog - Why Do My Tomatoes Look Like Crap?

It is early summer and I climb up to my edible green roof and what do I find - practically overnight? My tomato plants wilting, blackened stems that are pitted and my once promising fruit (tomatoes are a fruit botanically speaking) is turning black and dropping off the vine.

No doubt about it , we have had a less than stellar year in the heat and sun department in Vancouver. The cold and wet weather has brought the dreaded 'Tomato Blight' early this year. Even high up on a roof top we are no exception. Find out the only tried and true method for controlling tomato blight on my vlog - this ain't no happy ending...
