Ever wonder the trick to growing big juicy melons...in your garden of course!

Senga shows you a simple technique on her edible green roof which will help you grow your melons (I'm talking watermelon, cantelopes...) even bigger and in cooler climates such as Vancouver.

We are now hitting July in Vancouver and I need all the help I can get! Cool, wet, rainy weather has taken its toll on our warm weather crops such as pumpkins, melons, tomatoes. Vine crops in the melon family are particularly slow to mature therefore long warm days are critical to get any crop from them.
