August 21/10 Senga's Vlog - What Vegetables Can You Grow in Shade?

Let's face it no one has the perfect veggie garden. And more times than your edible garden is in a spot where there happens to be a building or a tree that casts some shade during the day.

Instead of fighting the situation - live with it and use it to your advantage. There are still lots of vegetables that can grow happily in part shade and infact during the hot dog days of summer some of the cooler growing crops benefit from the cooling effect of not being in the hot sun. The result is you can extend the growing season of some of your cool season crops like lettuces, carrots and even Cauliflower and Broccoli.
