April 16/11 Senga's Vlog Combining Bee Hives
It is early spring and I am up on the edible green roof. In my March 26 vlog (http://www.youtube.com/user/sengalindsay#p/a/u/2/HNnwf-51i0U) I showed you how do determine if a hive was weak after the winter or even lost its queen.
Unfortuneately I did lose the queen in hive #2 and now determined that I would need to combine it with a stronger hive. Watch my vlog to see how you do it using the newspaper method. It is a quick and easy method to introduce two hives together without an all out battle ensuing.
