April 25/11 Senga's Vlog Reducing a Bee Hive

It is early spring and I am up on the edible green roof. In my April 16/11 vlog I showed you how do to combine a weak queensless hive with a strong one. The intent was to build up the strong hive so we could resplit the hive back into two in the next month or so as we raise a new queen - a future vlog.
Problem is we now have a huge heavy hive with 4 brood boxes so we need to reduce the hive to make it manageabe. Bees are predictable as to where they raise their young so it is easy to see what boxes to remove.
