Herbs are an essential part of any chef's culinary repetoire as my chef husband David will attest. Every day he goes out in the garden and picks his herbs fresh from the garden or on our edible green roof. Herbs like Chives, Parsley, Thyme and even Sage double duty as ornamental in our regular perennial border and even pots.
