Strawberries and summer go hand in hand. They are one of the first edible fruits to start off the season. Plus they are so easy to grow and are versatile - we grow them on our edible green roof. And unlike many edibles they can come back year after year and mulitply over time. I like to use them for more than just eating, they make great fillers in your pots and the garden.
