Senga's latest Gardenwise Column on Edible garden design. This issue features 'Enabling Gardens.' An enabling garden or barrier free garden is one which is designed for those with physical, mental or sensory impairments – young and old. Depending on your challenges your edible garden design may focus on one aspect over another. In many cases it can be the slightest design detail that may previously have gone unnoticed, now becomes an obstacle and prevents those from continuing to work in and enjoy their gardens.
